A neck and shoulder injury at 14 from rugby that kept coming back. Ten years of standard treatment never actually fixed it, and eventually I decided there had to be a better way.
My background is Biology and Biomechanics at Oxford, then a decade-plus of qualifications in coaching, S&C and movement mechanics for both therapy and performance. I work with world-class athletes on performance, and I've helped hundreds of people out of pain. The part I care most about is teaching coaches and clinicians to do the same.
The Training Stimulus exists because the industry teaches treatment and programming, but not assessment. When you can see what's actually driving a problem, everything downstream gets simpler: the exercise selection, the progressions, the conversations with clients. That skill is learnable, and teaching it is what we do.
