Fix movement at the cause, not the symptom.

You can write the programme.
You're guessing at what's wrong.

Referring good clients out because you can't assess the injury. Avoiding the movements that flare up instead of fixing them. Get the assessment framework to see the actual driver, so you stop guessing and keep clients through the full arc, from injury back to performance.

CPD certified. 100+ professionals mentored. Intake kept small for real feedback.

See it in action

Watch how you find what's actually going wrong.

Ash walks through the exact framework you'd use with your own clients, from the first movement screen to the corrective exercise that fixes it.

Sound familiar

You can coach. The assessment is the weak link.

Coaching a movement in the gym
The thing you already suspect

Avoiding a movement isn't the same as fixing it.

Programming around a problem keeps the session going. It doesn't change why the movement fails, so the issue is still there the moment the load comes back.

The gap

You were taught to program. You were never taught to assess.

Coaching qualifications teach you periodisation, exercise selection and progression. They don't teach you how to work out why a movement fails, or what to do about it. So when something hurts, you're either guessing or handing the client to someone else. That's the ceiling on what you can charge and who you get to keep.

What changes

What you'll be able to do.

Assess before you program

Run a full Muscle Imbalance Assessment so you know what you're actually working with, instead of guessing from how a rep looks.

Keep the clients you'd have referred out

Take someone from a niggle or injury back to full performance yourself, rather than losing them to a clinic for good.

Program for the body in front of you

Choose and design exercises for their actual mechanics, not a template you run for everyone who walks in.

Become the coach others send people to

Be the one who can explain why a movement hurts and fix it. The referrals and the premium follow that.

From coaches who did it

Don't take our word for it.

How it's built

A pathway, not a pile of videos.

You submit real assessments on your own clients and get them marked by the team, so you're applying it in the gym from early on. Five phases, in order.

Principles

The real science of how muscles work and move, and why it changes how you program everything downstream.

Assessment

The full Muscle Imbalance Assessment. Stability, then mobility, then motor control, read across all three planes.

Correction

Choosing and designing the right exercises for the body in front of you, not a generic protocol off a shelf.

Embedding

Loading the correction into real training so the change holds under sport and heavy work.

Mastery

Developing your coach's eye so you can spot dysfunction on sight, before you've run a single test.

Who's teaching you

I came at this from the wrong end.

A neck and shoulder injury at 14 from rugby that kept coming back. Ten years of standard treatment never actually fixed it, and eventually I decided there had to be a better way.

My background is Biology and Biomechanics at Oxford, then a decade-plus of qualifications in coaching, S&C and movement mechanics for both therapy and performance. I work with world-class athletes on performance, and I've helped hundreds of people out of pain. The part I care most about is teaching coaches and clinicians to do the same.

We've now mentored 100+ health and fitness professionals, including some of the best coaches in the world. I think these skills become the industry norm before long. The sooner you have them, the sooner you pull away from the crowd.

Why we can say that

We cap the numbers. And we back the outcome.

Intake is kept deliberately small, so you get real feedback on your own clients rather than a seat in a webinar. And we're confident enough in what happens that if your service isn't meaningfully better by the end of the programme, you get your money back.

Straight answers

Before you book.

I'm a coach, not a therapist. Is this too clinical for me?
No. It's built for coaches who work with active people. You learn to assess movement and program around what you find. You're not diagnosing pathology, you're finally able to see what's driving an issue and train it out.
How much time does it take each week?
Around 2 to 4 hours. Some weeks more, some less. It's built to fit around a full coaching schedule, and you work through it whenever suits you.
Is it all online? I learn by doing.
You apply it to your own clients from early on and submit real assessment videos for direct feedback. It's hands-on with your actual roster, not just watching a screen.
What does it cost?
It depends on the duration and level of support that fits your situation. We go through the options properly on the discovery call.
The time is now

In six months, you're either still guessing, or you're the coach others send their tricky clients to.
